POWER BUOY PARK

A powerfluxx power buoy park consists of a flexible amount of power buoys connected to a base station on land. From there the consumers are supplied.

Power buoys and base station are delivered fully assembled. This ensures a short implementation phase and a fast set-up.

powerfluxx can supply communities, agriculture, industry or important infrastructure, such as hospitals, around the clock with stable electric energy.

ENERGY PIONEERS

We have been working on the use of kinetic flow energy for over 25 years. Once born from a patented idea, we made our first attempts along the Danube River in the World Heritage Region Wachau. The river has taught us how to deal with challenges such as flotsam and flooding while still ensuring safe operations.

Our technology has been successfully tested for years and fulfils highest standards for nature and environmental safety. The safety of fish and aquatic creatures is of course taken into account. The powerfluxx power buoy is also safe for swimmers and water sports enthusiasts.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The powerfluxx power buoys are specially designed for use in large and medium-sized rivers.

With a rotor diameter of 250 cm and a flow speed of 3,3 m/s, they achieve an output of up to 70 kW per piece. One power buoy can generate up to 300 MWh of electric energy per year.

This is made possible by an innovative diffuser that makes optimal use of the available flow energy.
